Launch of an XXL Logistics Platform in Ablaincourt-Pressoir
Factor’Industry Real Estate and Stonehedge, independent companies specializing in real estate development, planning, and investment, have commenced construction of a logistics platform exceeding 100,000 m² in Ablaincourt-Pressoir, in Somme, on behalf of GLP.
Designed to provide maximum modularity and potential multi-tenant use, the building comprises 16 cells of 6,000 m² each and will be available in the first half of 2023.
"The planning of this project, which today represents one of France's major logistics sites, was executed within controlled timelines, thanks in particular to the involvement of local elected officials, state services, all our partners, and our teams," state Julien Mongoin, co-founder of Factor’Industry Real Estate, and Christophe Foulon, President of Stonehedge.
A Project in the Heart of the Picardy Region
Developed in the heart of the Picardy region, this platform will be directly connected to the A1 and A29 motorways. Its location near the Amiens Haute-Picardie TGV station also represents a strategic asset.
The building will benefit from state-of-the-art features: Full LED lighting technology, a Breeam Very Good certification, and the installation of an 8 MWp photovoltaic power plant, the largest ever built on a rooftop.
"We are confident that this high-value-added operation, launched speculatively, will find tenants before its delivery," states Philippe Graziani, Managing Director of GLP France.
